The format

What a CEO Conversation is like

  • CEO challenges

Discuss decisions, challenges and developments that matter to CEOs.

  • Different perspectives

Each conversation brings together CEOs with different experiences. Come ready to listen, ask questions and share your perspectives.

  • All it takes

No presentations or polished statements. Bring your experience, curiosity and willingness to engage.

Similar shows

Think All-In or Moonshots. CEO Conversation differs in three ways:

  • Every conversation revolves around the challenges CEOs face.
  • A changing mix of CEOs.
  • Female and male CEOs as participants. No boys’ club.
  • All-In hosts: Jason Calacanis with his three co-hosts
All-In: Jason Calacanis (second from right) with his fellow “Besties”.
  • Moonshots hosts: Peter Diamandis with four co-hosts
Moonshots: Peter Diamandis (second from left) with the Moonshots “Mates”.

History

30 private CEO meetings. 120 participating CEOs.

Those conversations were confidential, and their recordings remain private.

The new CEO Conversation series builds on that experience and takes the format public.

Editorial principles

Real conversations. No sales pitches.

CEO Conversation is an exchange among peers. The value comes from CEOs sharing experiences, challenging assumptions and considering different perspectives.

  • Boom's Dave Hertig hosts and independently moderates the conversations.
  • Participants contribute as peers. Nobody pitches products or services.
  • Boom retains editorial control.

Boom publishes each CEO Conversation and uses excerpts in its own marketing. Every participating CEO and their company can share the published recording and use excerpts in their own communications.
